For two consecutive years, Blowin In Time has proven herself among the elite futurity heading horses in the industry.
The mare, known around the barn as “Chyna,” delivered back-to-back Reserve World Champion performances at the American Rope Horse Futurity Association World Championship Show under the guidance of Kaleb Driggers, earning major checks and consistent marks across multiple rounds against some of the toughest competition in the futurity pen.
Owned by Kingpin Genetics, Blowin In Time first captured the Reserve Championship title in the 2024 ARHFA 3/4-Year-Old Pre-Futurity Heading.
The mare’s standout performance included a 236.19 in Round 2, good for the fifth-highest score of the round, before ultimately finishing Reserve Champion and collecting a $15,000 paycheck.
One year later, Chyna returned to the ARHFA World Championship Show and once again found herself at the top of the leaderboard, this time in the 6 & Under Futurity Heading.
Driggers and Blowin In Time opened the 2025 event with a 231.13 in Round 1, the fourth-highest score of the round, before winning Round 2 outright with a 232.55 worth $2,000. The pair followed it up with a 228.15 in Round 3, earning the fifth-high score and securing their position as the second-high callback heading into the finals.
After three rounds of competition, the duo secured the Reserve World Champion title with a cumulative score of 919.36, earning $22,244 total at the event.
Back-to-back Reserve World Champion titles at the ARHFA World Championship Show are a rare accomplishment, particularly in an event defined by depth and consistency. For Kingpin Genetics, Blowin In Time’s continued success further reflects the program’s emphasis on producing horses capable of performing at the sport’s highest level year after year.
